Iplex PVC-U Pressure Pipe & Fittings – Features & Benefits
Iplex PVC-U Pressure Pipes and Fittings are manufactured from unplasticised polyvinyl chloride polymer (a thermoplastic material) using the extrusion process. PVC-U pipes and fittings were introduced into Australia in the early 1960's and is now widely accepted for use across many applications. Their high strength weight ratio together with exceptional resistance to corrosion or chemical attack make these pipelines ideal for major infrastructure applications. Iplex’s PVC-U Pressure Pipe and Fittings Systems offer a complete range of pipes and fittings for the Irrigation market; and the products are manufactured in accordance with AS/NZ 1477 “PVC Pipes and Fittings for Pressure Applications”.
Iplex PVC-U Pressure Pipes are available in both solvent weld joint (SWJ) and rubber ring joint (RRJ). DN15 up to and including DN150 pipes are available in solvent weld joint and DN80 up to and including DN375 pipes are available in rubber ring joint.
Iplex PVC-U Pressure Fittings are compatible with Series 1 PVC-U Pressure Pipes
and are available in a wide range of sizes (DN15 to DN150) and configurations; from bends, tees, reducers and connectors.
