The Irrigear Supplier of the Year (SOTY) award recognises excellence amongst some of the best suppliers in the industry. Philmac earned this distinction through an annual appraisal process that relies strongly on feedback from Irrigear’s Member Stores, evaluating suppliers across a range of criteria such as product quality, innovation, service and support.
 


The official announcement of this award took place during the Irrigear National Conference Gala dinner in Hobart, where representatives from Irrigear’s member stores and fellow platinum suppliers were also in attendance. Presenting the award Irrigear General Manager Simon Treptow said: “Congratulations to Philmac on being announced as the Irrigear Supplier of the Year for 2025. 

Philmac is a prominent global leader in the design and manufacture of specialized fittings and valves, delivering cost-effective solutions for the transfer, control, and application of water. The company’s products are predominantly utilized in rural and irrigation settings, including sectors such as agriculture, viticulture, and horticulture.

Recognition of Excellence.

Irrigear continually seeks to 'raise the bar' on professional standards and practices, by continual programs of training, information exchange, networking and review processes which recognise excellence.

Yearly, we celebrate the achievements of our 'Irrigear Family' through two major Awards – 'Member of the Year (MOTY)' and 'Supplier of the Year (SOTY)'. The winners are selected based on results of an annual appraisal process, that scores Members and Platinum Suppliers across a range of performance and industry criteria. This year’s Awards were announced in August 2024, at the Irrigear National Conference in Cairns, Queensland amongst Irrigear Member Stores and Platinum Suppliers.
