Philmac – Strong relationships with Irrigear & Stores

Philmac, a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialist fittings and valves, has once again taken out the prestigious and much anticipated award – Irrigear 2016 Supplier of the Year.

Philmac were selected based on the results of an annual appraisal process that scores suppliers based on a range of criteria. The award was announced at the Irrigear National Conference Gala dinner on the Gold Coast amongst Irrigear member stores and other platinum suppliers.

Philmac National Sales Manager John Pivac said "To once again be selected as the Supplier of the Year for Irrigear is a great honor and something everyone across the whole Philmac business is extremely excited about. Irrigear is considered Australia’s premium provider of effective solutions to the wider water industry and our partnership over the past 26 years has definitely provided great opportunities for both businesses to grow and develop.

The wider team at Philmac including our Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Distribution staff, not forgetting the all important accounts and admin staff, would like to acknowledge Simon and Lisa from the Irrigear Head Office for all their hard work and dedication and we would also like to thank everyone associated with each and every Irrigear member for making their businesses so successful and supporting suppliers like Philmac, it really is appreciated.

Irrigear continually seeks to 'raise the bar' on professional standards and practices, by continual programs of training, information exchange, networking and review processes which recognise excellence.

Yearly, we celebrate the achievements of our 'Irrigear Family' through two major Awards – 'Member of the Year (MOTY)' and 'Supplier of the Year (SOTY)'. The winners are selected based on results of an annual appraisal process, that scores Members and Platinum Suppliers across a range of performance and industry criteria. This year’s Awards were announced in August 2023, at the Irrigear National Conference in Brisbane, Queensland amongst Irrigear Member Stores and Platinum Suppliers.
