Goulds GIS / GISO Series ISO End Suction Centrifugal Pumps – flexible, efficient and highly versatile – available from your local Irrigear® Independent Experts.
Designed with the latest CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), the Goulds ISO Series pumps are in accordance with international standard ISO2858. A back pull out and foot mounted single stage end suction pump, the ISO series features two design options:
- GIS – stub shaft series suitable for direct attachment
- GISO – frame mounted series suitable for long coupled
Designed for non-combustible, low viscosity liquids, free of solids, abrasive materials and fibres. Various liquid chemical compositions are capable of being pumped through the use of a variety of construction materials and seal options.

Goulds GIS / GISO Series Specifications
- Design versions: GISO – frame mount series suitable for long coupled. GIS – stub shaft series suitable for direct attachment
- Pump Casing: highly efficient volute type casing. Back pull-out design provides easy maintenance without disturbing the pipe work.
- Impeller: fully enclosed, designed for maximum efficiency and balanced for minimum vibration.
- Shaft: heavy-duty stainless-steel shaft for minimum deflection at high speed. The taper mount with keyed impeller provides positive locking and easy removal during servicing.
- Shaft Seal: mechanical type with excellent sealing performance.
- Bearing: high-quality oversize bearings grease lubricated for general service.

Design versions: frame mount is suitable for long coupled direct drive applications. Stub shaft with its heavy-duty cast iron adapter close couples to either 2 or 4 pole IEC standard frame motors.
Pump casing: highly efficient volute type casing. Back-pullout design provides easy maintenance without disturbing the pipe work.
Impeller: fully enclosed; designed for maximum efficiency and balanced for minimum vibration.
Shaft: heavy-duty stainless steel shaft for minimum deflection at high speed. The taper mount with keyed impeller provides positive locking and easy removal during servicing.
Shaft seal: mechanical type with excellent sealing performance. High temperature versions on request.
Bearing: high quality oversize bearings grease lubricated for general service. Oil lubrication option for high temperatures.
Construction materials: wet end in GG25 cast iron, stainless steel impeller and wear rings with 420 stainlesssteelshaft. 316Sandothermaterialoptions on request.
Goulds ISO Series Centrifugal Pumps come with cast iron casing wet end, SS304 impeller and wear rings and SS420 shaft as standard. In order to suit a wider range of applications, the ISO series of pump casing are also available in the following materials:
- EN-GJL-250 (Cast Iron)
- EN-GJS-450-10 (Ductile Iron)
- EN 1.4301 / AISI 304 (Stainless Steel 304)
- EN 1.4401 / AISI 316 (Stainless Steel 316)
