Pumping, Irrigation & Machinery Services (PIMS) - outstanding commitment & performance

Congratulations to brothers Greg, Ken, Darryl and Ron Cummings for their outstanding commitment and performance as an Irrigear member store in Queensland's far North.

Darryl Cummings, General Manager of Pumping, Irrigation and Machinery Services (PIMS) has called the winning of the Irrigear Member of the Year Award "a great indication that small, stand-alone shops can compete with the large franchises by being part of a growing family like Irrigear.

The award is a credit to the hard work that is put in by all the employees of PIMS, and each staff member should feel very proud of this achievement. To be judged by our Suppliers for this award, shows the high regard they have for dealing with PIMS in all aspects of the business, from staff, shop presentation and receiving, through to accounts and administration. The knowledge that Greg brings back from each regional meeting, helps us improve what we do and keep abreast with changes in a rapidly changing industry, with the Irrigear group covering such a diverse number of irrigation areas."

PIMS has an incredible 37-year history as specialists in the field of water management and associated activities. Based in Mareeba, on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland, PIMS pride themselves on their technical advice and expertise and the quality equipment and materials that they provide to their customers.

These high standards are what saw PIMS take out the highly anticipated and acclaimed Member of the Year at the Irrigear National Conference gala dinner.
Irrigear suppliers evaluated all Irrigear member stores against a long list of criteria. The best all-round performer - Pumping, Irrigation & Machinery Services. PIMS continually strives to improve their business and services to the community it serves and are worthy winners.
